By creating an account or using GridSense ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you use GridSense on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
GridSense is a cloud-based software platform that provides electrical engineering calculation tools including short-circuit analysis (IEC 60909), arc flash studies (IEEE 1584), relay coordination (IEC 60255), load flow, cable sizing, and PDF report generation.
The Service is provided via a web browser at gridsense.jdsancontrols.com and through our API at gridsense-production.up.railway.app.
GridSense offers monthly and annual subscription plans. Current pricing is shown at gridsense.jdsancontrols.com/pricing.html. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required for the trial. At the end of the trial, access to paid features is suspended until a subscription is purchased.
Subscriptions are billed in advance (monthly or annually) via Razorpay. By providing payment details, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer pro-rata refunds for partial months.
Refunds may be issued at our discretion within 14 days of initial purchase if the Service does not function as described. Subsequent charges are non-refundable except where required by law.
You agree not to:
The GridSense platform, including its software, algorithms, UI design, calculation engines, and branding, is the intellectual property of Jdsan Controls. All rights reserved.
Subscribing to the Service grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the platform for your own engineering work. This licence does not transfer any ownership rights.
The IEC and IEEE standards referenced in GridSense are the intellectual property of their respective standards bodies. GridSense's implementation of these methods does not constitute reproduction of the standards documents themselves.
You retain full ownership of all project data, calculation inputs, results, and PDF reports you create using GridSense ("Your Content").
By using the Service, you grant Jdsan Controls a limited, revocable licence to store, process, and transmit Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
We do not use Your Content (project data, calculation results) to train machine learning models or share it with third parties for commercial purposes.
You are responsible for ensuring Your Content does not violate any applicable law, third-party rights, or confidentiality obligations.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
We make reasonable efforts to maintain accuracy of our calculation methods against the referenced standards (IEC 60909, IEEE 1584, IEC 60255, etc.), but we do not warrant that every result is correct for every possible input scenario.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jdsan Controls shall not be liable for:
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim, or (b) £100.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
You may terminate your account at any time from the Settings panel or by emailing support@jdsancontrols.com.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if:
On termination, your access to the Service will cease. Your data will be retained for 30 days during which you may request an export, after which it will be deleted (billing records excluded per Section 4).
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction where local mandatory consumer protection laws apply, those laws may override certain provisions of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email and by updating the "Last updated" date above. Changes take effect 14 days after notification. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
